Our Privacy Commitment top

Current, LP knows that you care how your personal information is used and shared. This Privacy Statement outlines the information we will collect and how we will use it. This Statement also explains how you can make your preferences known about whether and when we may contact you regarding promotions and other marketing information.

Except as otherwise provided in this Statement, Current, LP will not collect personal information from you unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. Any personal information we collect will be used exclusively for our own purposes, except as otherwise disclosed in this Statement.

We may also ask for information relating to energy use, such as the characteristics of your home, your age, gender and family size, so we can help you get the best possible energy service for your needs. We may use your personal information to contact you. We may send you emails describing new products or services, or telling you about special promotions or events. These email services are optional and you may unsubscribe from these services at any time. If you unsubscribe, we may still, however, send you emails for other reasons, such as responding to your comments or requests for information about the services we provide, or your account. We may contact you if necessary to enroll you for service you requested. We may also use your personal information for credit approval after you enroll. We make good faith efforts to provide you access to your personal information upon request and to let you correct such data if it is inaccurate and delete it, when it is reasonably possible.

We will not give your personal information to unaffiliated companies for commercial purposes. However, we reserve the right to share your personal information with Current, LP subsidiaries and affiliates. Personal information collected by Current, LP is restricted to employees, contractors and agents of Current, LP who need to know information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality and may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination or criminal prosecution.

The Current, LP Web site contains energy-related information that may be of educational interest to children; however, we do not seek to gather personal information from or about them.
